Google has recently announced that it has launched an application for the Chrome web browser that will allow users to access Gmail offline. Google Docs and Google Calendar will also incorporate this feature in the near future.
Gmail Offline is intended for consumers who need to respond, read, and archive email messages without an internet connection. This new application is based on Gmail app for tablets and is powered by HTML5.
